Pizza Beef Pepperoni Recipe

Ingredients

For the Dough:

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup warm water (about 110°F or 45°C)
  • 2 ¼ tsp (1 packet) active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

For the Toppings:

  • Mutti Pizza Sauce with Spices (about ½ cup)
  • Granarolo Mozzarella Julienne (shredded) (1 ½ cups)
  • Benina Mushroom (sliced, about ½ cup)
  • L’Exquis Pepperoni (beef) (about 15-20 slices)
  • ½ tsp dried oregano (optional)
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Method

Step 1: Prepare the Dough

  1. In a small bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil.
  3. Knead for about 8-10 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic.
  4. Cover and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

Step 2: Shape and Prebake the Dough

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
  2. Roll out the dough into a 12-inch circle and place it on a pizza stone or baking tray.
  3. Prebake for 5 minutes to get a slightly crisp base.

Step 3: Assemble the Pizza

  1. Spread a thin layer of Mutti Pizza Sauce with Spices over the dough.
  2. Sprinkle Granarolo Mozzarella evenly.
  3. Add Benina Mushrooms and L’Exquis Pepperoni slices.
  4. Sprinkle oregano and red pepper flakes if desired.

Step 4: Bake the Pizza

  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
  2. Remove from the oven, let it cool for a minute, then slice and serve.
